We have had terrific success with the Charlea Pig Club, and in May 2022 we will be starting our fourth year!
Due to popular demand, we may need increase our pig numbers.
The pig club is run by members who share the work caring for the pigs (we take turns feeding for one week at a time, occasional feed collection from Stroud Farm Services, keeping their wallow topped up during summer heat and of lots scratching behind ears!).
We usually start with weaners in May and run through to end October. We use an ethical local abattoir and the costs for the season for half a pig butchered and packaged is usually around £150.
